SILLY DESCRIPTIONS
Have you ever paid attention to the labels on many of our products, that we use daily? The package designer's have a real sense of humor. My lip gloss reads.
MENTHA LIP SHINE
Mint -infused for fresh breath.
My first question is, HOW does Lip gloss, that ultimately never enters your mouth, freshen you breath? I am still puzzled by the idea. And it gets even better, on the back, the directions for use.
Why do we need directions on how to use lip gloss, again?
Enjoy!
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Glide some on for immediate relief with breath-freshening benefits.
Are you he type of consumer that would be reeled in by these small point of articulation? (chuckle) I probably would.

Show & Tell # 1 ~ An Inspiration to me...
In my mother’s house, sitting on the table where we never could eat, in the room that we seldom used, next to the couch that we seldom sat, below the vase that we never could touch, you will find a book. Since I was a little girl, I have always been captivated and intrigued by this book called Door Posts by Timothy R. Botts. The Author/Artist used words, to create images, that foster understanding. Behind each page is a new moment, and a new experience. His use of color, texture & placement (typography) allows the viewer to grasp the his message well before even reading the words. In my opinion, the images in this book are so "timeless" and a true reflection of the books source of inspiration. As an artist I am heavily influenced, by my faith. Just as I can pick up the Bible, and re-read the same verse, ultimately getting some totally new measure of understanding, the same holds true for this book. It never gets old to me, and whenever I get discouraged or feel like I am having a “DESIGN BLOCK” I pick up this book, and the juices start flowing again.

Do we really know?
What is Art?
Who can create it and who deserves the right to define it? Does it define you?
Is it the only real way that we can define truth? Perhaps, maybe its just something that we DO...
A little piece of me.. with specks of you shining through.. Colors well defined, intertwined creating melodies, of soul quenching movement.. Or just the blind leading the blind.. into their reality, their own space and time...
Visions.....
Emotion....
Life!
